Mathieu Robert - bowl with harefur type of glaze

This bowl in porcelain is handthrown. The glaze in a harefur type of glaze is really marvelous. This piece was bought by the first owner in Galerie Loes & Reinier in Deventer.

Mathieu Robert is a potter, active in Poncé sur le Loir in France. His work is inspired by Chinese and Japanese ceramic art, both in shape and glaze. 

Picture: the artist in his workshop in december 1998, together with his young daughter, working on a huge celadon container (collection Capriolus).
