Pierre Bayle (FR) - sculpture 'Tombeau pour le Hanneton'

Pierre Bayle (FR), sculpture with the title "Tombeau pour le Hanneton ', constructed with slabs from a mold and with turned parts, earthenware, terra siglliata, reducied firing, three parts, see the images, height 28 cm, width and depth 18,5 cm, dated 11.05.1991, provenance private collection Bergen (nh). Note: at the central cherry is a small chip at the bottom (see last image). This piece was bought by the first owner in Galerie D.M. Sarver in Paris, before 1999. A comparable piece was in the private collection of Daniel & Michèle Sarver, at auction at Camard in Paris in 2013.
