The thrown vessels as functional ware as well as a means of expression is my theme. Fiddely requirements challenge me. Fullfilling them takes all my concentration, which allows me to escape in my inner world. Up to now I`ve combined tediously the inner with the outer of the razor-thin vessel with acurately drawn black lines. Right now I work the very same with white and coloured porcelain. Rings of different colours are thrown in exactly the same diameter, then they are combined to one cylindre, which I cut vertically in order to reassemble this one with others. Multilayered vessels of soft colours with an interplay of the walls come into existence, that raise new questions upon the relationship between the inside and the outside (text: www.gruppe83.de ).
