All inspiration in Mannings work comes from the Rocky Mountains where he lives. Also in this work you feel and see the roughness of the mountains. The shape and the combination of the rough open brownish stoneware at the bottom in combination with the more closed grey in the middle\u00a0and the porcelain surface make this a very attractive object.
