Valdemar Pedersen was born in Holbæk (DK) in 1906. 1920-1925 Pottery apprenticeship in H.C. Nielsen's Lervare-og ceramics factory in Holbæk. 1925-1931 Workshop in various ceramic companies in Nykøbing/Seeland (Frydendahl), Tåstrup (Brack & Sonner) and Valby (Porcelainfabriken Norden). 1931-1976 Ceramist in the workshop from Bing & Grøndahls Porcelænsfabrik in Copenhagen. From 1945 on he opened his own workshop. Since 1962 he is also teacher at the Kunsthåndvækerskolen Kopenhagen in Copenhagen. He lives in retirement in Valby/Copenhagen, 1980. Valdemar died in 1981.
