Knud Kristensen (DK) – oval vase shape with finely incised decorations

Knud Kristensen (DK), oval vase shape with receding base, thrown on the wheel and deformed, oval foot, surprisingly finely incised stripe decoration on the edges and all over the inside, centrally on the front, back and sides a vertical stripe decoration with an emblem of a little bird at the top, on the outside diagonal lines scratched in between which are horizontal and vertical varying characters resembling Arabic script, height 19.5 cm, width 22.6 cm, depth centre 13.5 cm, incised signature and date, 1994.
