Johan van Loon (NL) – tall bowl with combed decor

Johan van Loon (NL), tall bowl, moulded from very thin slabs of clay, on the outside two parts glazed diagonally high-gloss greyish-white, and two diagonal parts with a combed engobe decor, the rim unglazed with nipple, the inside entirely glossy glazed with spots, height 12.7 cm, diameter 13 cm, painted signature and (19)88. This object was purchased by its first owners at Galerie het Kapelhuis in Amersfoort (NL).
