    Daniel De Montmollin (FR) – large bowl with surprising glazes

    Daniel de Montmollin, Taizé ((FR), large heavy bowl, turned by hand, hollow base, very nice oil-spot and running glazes, height 11,3 cm, diameter 21 cm, 1984. Note : This bowl comes from Peter Hagenah Gallery, bought by the Westerwald Pottery Museum director, Axel Schmidt Walguny, around 1984. The neighbours of Clément Lacaton (Blanot workshop) went to Germany in 1984 for an exhibition with Montmollin (François Lanusé was there too)‌.
