Rik Vandewege (BE) – slabbuilt container with holes and scratches

Rik Vandewege (BE) – round container slabbuilt, to start the surface of the slab is machined, resulting in holes, rough spots and scratches. After the slab got its container shape, a turned foot was mounted on the underside, the matt skin is coloured with blue, green, brown and white engobes, height 22 cm, diameter 22,2 – 23,5 cm, dating most probably 1991 (see photo underneath). This object was purchased by its first owners from Galerie Carla Koch in Amsterdam.
