Since 1950 Edmond Bellefroid is the aesthetic advisor and industrial designer for N.V. MOSA porselein- en tegelfabrieken in Maastricht. At that time he is 57 year of age. See his CV under database / designers. During his Mosa time he also makes this autonomous plate depicting three heads. The plate is in rough white fired chamotte clay. Artist monogram and date ’53 (1953). This rare plate has a horizontal hairline in the middle (see picture). The is mounted in a 4 cm deep darkblue frame with a middle blue passepartout.
