Frans Tuinstra (NL) – tile with seated figure

Frans Tuinstra, the ceramist / potter from Neercanne, Maastricht made this tile-plastic in his characteristic styled abstract form in 1985. The upper placed parts have been glazed in, for instance, a silver oxide. The darker parts are of a black engobe. Such as he used for the first time in Tegelen (Limburg).
