Wim Borst – hand-shapen vase with plexiglass divider

Wim Borst is a true perfectionist. This becomes obvious when analysing the vase we have to offer here. This hand-shapen vase has been given a tight diagonal cut. It has retained it’s tightness following the baking procedure, for faulty shrinkage is unacceptable when building with polished plexiglass. The matt dark glaze has been left out at the edges. By doing so the image of the diagonal lines has been enhanced. Space is only available in the upper part of the vase.
