Valence, René and Madeleine de – La Grange aux Potiers

La Grange aux Potiers – GP –  (The Potters barn) from René and Madeleine de Valence was in business between 1940 and 2016. René and Madeleine de Valence were ceramists in Isère from the 1940s – in Beaurepaire, then in Saint-Barthélemy – and after 1960 in the Drome – Gervans. After the accidental death of René in 1963, Madeleine continued  work for twenty years. In 2016 a book about life and work of this artistic couple is in preparation (tekst by Christian Beaurepaire).
