Clara Andersen is born in Tistrup, Denmark in 1944. She studied at Det Jyske Kunstakademi between 1968 and 1971. She opened a workshop in Aarhus. Clara worked as a study leader at Kunsthåndværkerskolen in Kolding between 1988 and 1991. Clara is living and working in Aarhus, Jutland. She was befreinded with the late dutch ceramist Leen Quist.
