Hans Munck Andersen is born in Odense on April 21, 1943. Between 1963 and 1968 he visits the Kunsthåndværkerskolen in Copenhagen, followed by the Kunstakademiets Arkitektskoles Designafdeling (1972-1973). Since 1973 Hans Munck Andersen has his ceramic studio on the island Bornholm with his wife Gerd Hjort Petersen.
