Yves Mohy is born in 1929. He studied architecture at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and continued his study at the École des Métiers d’Art in Paris. He settled with his wife Monique in La Borne in 1955 and joined the La Borne Group, established by Jean and Jacqueline Lerat. Along with Élisabeth Joulia, Jean and Jacqueline Lerat and Robert Deblander Mohy is considered one of the great innovators of contemporary ceramics in France.
