1946 – Monique Muylaert born in Kersken (Haaltert) – BE. 1964 – Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Aalst. Prize Valerius de Saedeleer. 1965-69 – Studies at National High Institute of Fine Arts in Antwerp. 1968 – Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Aalst. 1969 – Laureate of the National High Institute of Fine Arts in Antwerp. 1971-74 – Professor at the IKO in Hoogstraten. 1980 – Commission for the province of Antwerp to make a monumental mural in ceramics for the governmental palace.
