CLAY POTTERY MUSEUM DENMARK (the former Danish ceramics museum Grimmerhus) is a unique specialised museum of ceramic arts, crafts and design. It has one of Europe’s finest collections of ceramics, with the Museum in 2010 was entrusted with a unique collection consisting of approximately 55,000 ceramic works – porcelain, stoneware and earthenware – from The Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory, Bing & Grøndal and Aluminia. There are approximately 1,000 works exhibited by the 55,000. What makes the collection unique is that it has never been presented to an audience, and that it reflects more than 235 years of ceramic design development made on the three illustrious Danish ceramics factories: The Royal. Porcelain Manufactory, Bing & Grøndahl and Aluminia. Address: Claymuseum Kongebruvej 42 5500  MIDDELFART Denmark Picture : Claymuseum exterior (photographe Thomas Molvig).
