Robert L. Forman (USA – NL) – dynamic sculpted bowl with polished terra sigillata glaze

Robert (Bob) L. Forman (USA – NL) – sculpted bowl, wheel-thrown, low-temperature fired red clay, interior with a matt black glaze on visible ribbing, exterior with a polished rose-cream terra sigillata glaze, height 15.8 cm, width 20.5 cm, 1981.

This piece was created by the artist during his artist-in-residence stay at the Keramisch Werkcentrum in Heusden (NL) between January and March 1981. At the end of his stay, there was an exhibition of his work in the city of  ‘s-Hertogenbosch (NL).

Comments on condition: there are some scratches on the surface. Picture  1 is representative for the colour.
