Spieker, Kyra (DE) – tall socket object with diagonal incised contrast strip

Kyra Spieker (DE), tall socket object consisting of two parts that slide perfectly into each other, turned on the wheel, stoneware, lightly fired sherd, interior white glazed, exterior rough matt glazed in mid-grey, at the front a slightly diagonal incised strip in darker grey, at the top of the lower part ending in a white glazed raised triangle that has been cut out of the upper part, height 40 cm, diameter 7.5 cm, 1991. This object was purchased by the first owners from Galerie Ewers in Cologne.
