Vilma Henkelman (NL), flat reclining vase, constructed from slabs of stoneware clay, ribbed structure, light cream unglazed skin, jagged top rim, with deliberately applied scratches and bullet holes, inspired by the work of Peter Voulkos (USA), height 21.1 cm, width 32.7 cm, depth 7.2 cm, 1980s. Provenance: collection Prop-Arnold, Utrecht. Note : small foot chip on one side (see image).
