Vilma Henkelman (NL), flat vase shape with horizontal pronounced rib structure on all four sides, constructed from slabs of clay, stoneware, front and back with applied wide scratches, inspired by the work of American Peter Voulkos (1924-2002), whom she meets in America in the 1980s. Fine glazes in brown tones, height 31.5 cm, width 18.2 cm, depth 7.3 cm, 1980s-1990s. Provenance Dutch private collection.
