Jean Pierre Viot (FR), solid chawan, turned on the wheel, outer side angularly chamfered and worked with a knife, turned off foot, base is a pink glaze with white and rust, Raku fired in the wood-fired kiln, height 8.2 cm, diameter 13.2 cm, artist’s stamp, 1998. This object was purchased by the first owner from gallery Loes & Reinier International Ceramics in Deventer.
