    Christine Fabre, lidded ‘African’ pot I

    Christine Fabre, lidded ‘African’ pot I, stoneware, wood fired kiln. The pot with two wooden vertical handles, mounted in ceramic loops and kept together with a braided leather band. The skin of the pot is decorated with impressed patterns. The bottom part of the pot is decorated with leather rope. This pot is in perfect condition and was bought by the first owners at Loes & Reinier International Ceramics gallery in Deventer (NL).
