    Hans de Jong (NL) – vessel, oval, handthrown, on a concave oval foot, slightly flared top, red fired clay, vertical incisions which can still be seen at the top and the bottom, four incised strips with roses has been preserved, the middle section with fine diagonal incisions and brushed, the bottom with a carved pavement look and filled in with blue glaze, the inside with a impressive rare blue and purple matt glaze, the edge with a carved decoration, signature at feet and dated 1999. This vessel is from the last series of the artist.
