Hoshino Kayoko (JPN) – stoneware multi sided form with vase function

Hoshino Kayoko (Japan, 1949) – an amazing multi sided autonome form with a vase function, sculpted by heart by the famous Japanese ceramist Hoshino Kayoko. All sides with a grey brown carved skin. When turning around, you will discover the many faces of this object. A piece worthwhile studying and enjoying it carefully. Technical details : the clay is coming from a local brook, this is rich in fine stones, hand-built, decorated with saw blade cuts, oxidizing fired where in a part of the heating process gas is incorporated for a reducing atmosphere.
