Jan van Willigen (NL) – vase with ‘child’ s drawing’

Jan van Willigen (NL) was working for De Porceleyne Fles in Delft since 1947. He is ceramist, designer and painter. He made in de 1960s-1970s all kind of innovative designs for ceramics. In case of this colorful vase met small opening he painted a child’s drawing. All kids in orange, except for one. Some craquelure and local discoloration in the glaze near the mouth (see picture 3). The vaas is in mint condition. Dated CP = 1971.
