Johan van Loon, a pot with sculpted cloud design

Johan van Loon created this vase in one of his very creativ periodes, about 1980-1985. The artist mounted on a rectangular foot a thrown form. This form has been incised to mid at two sides. The whole form than has been deformed. In this period Johan van Loon liked to apply sculpted cloudlike motifs in the glaze. Stoneware, dated 1983.
