    Kate Malone (UK) – two carnival ware jugs

    Kate Malone (UK) – two ‘Carnival ware’ jugs, stoneware, each with vivid blue and running green and other colors over embossed motifs, the looping handles with spiralling incised lines, both with incised signature. Further description: the large jug (HF035) with title ‘Pineapple’, pineapple motifs with stars and leaves, height 17 cm, around 1996. The smaller jug (HF036) with title ‘Sweathearts’, sweatheart motifs with text as Catch me, Hugh me, Make up, and Hello. Height 11 cm, around 1996. Both pieces were bought by the first owners at Galerie Loes & Reinier in Deventer (NL) in 1999.
