Michel Gardelle – One Piece, untitled

Michel Gardelle is born on May, 15th 1949 in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine) (FR). He has been taught in painting and carving after having explored ceramics in the 1960s. In 1974 he opens his first studio in La Valette (Haute Vienne). Since 1983 Michel is living and working in Les Landes. Ceramic centrepiece, one piece, untitled. With this ‘sweet pastry’ the artist is making a statement. White clay, engobes and sgrafitto, 1989.
