Hans de Jong (1932-2011) is considered as one of the most important Dutch ceramists in the 1960s – 1980s. He modelled this very characteristic plastic of a funny fantasy frog. The piece is sculpted with a hollow inside. The exterior is with a soft feeling terra sigillata in red-copper color.
