Gerd Hiort Petersen, wife of Hans Munck Andersen, creates on the island of Bornholm (DK) huge plates and bowls inspired by the rocky landscape. In addition she made in the eighties porcelain bowls in all possible sizes. In it she shows her graphics talents. The bowl we are offering here might be the biggest one she ever made. The bowl weighs about 6 kg. The diagonal lines are scratched, filled up with black and partly with gold lines. Some created triangles are glazed with a white shiny tin glaze. This piece has the quality to be included in a museum collection. See for getting to know the artist on You Tube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cs5b2qJXBV4
