Rita Ternes (DE) – ‘Gefaltete Platte II’ – folded slab with geometric decor

Rita Ternes (DE), large and impressive ceramic object, ‘Gefaltete Platte II’, slabbuilt, in the wet clay a geometric decor has been carved in, then the plate has been folded with an overlap in its present form, the spaces between the created lines have been filled with coloured engobes, all this with great precision, height 27 cm, diameter 36 cm, 1995. This object was purchased by the first owners from St. Joseph Galerie in Leeuwarden.
