    Vera Vehring (DE) – intriguing ‘Head’ constructed from worked, non-smooth slabs of stoneware clay, oval folded, front is divided into two parts with a white glazed diagonal slit in the middle, left part in matt black glaze, right part unglazed in yellow-brown with nuanced workings, above it (the eye) with 6 vertical ceramic strips, behind them a red-brown and white glaze, the other side mainly in unglazed yellow-brown and the upper part glazed matt black, on the inside, the painted signature, height 28 cm, width 23.9 cm, depth 7 cm, 1976.
