Silvia Beghè was born in Poggibonsi in 1959. From an early age she grew up in an environment of artists, friends of her father, also an artist and art collector, and others known at numerous cultural events she has always attended. She attended the Duccio di Buoninsegna Art Institute in Siena in 1980 with success in the ceramics section. Immediately after graduating, she opened her first workshop in San Gimignano. In the following years, she attended a workshop in Faenza and at the School of Ceramics in Gijon, Spain. In both cases she met ceramists with whom she gained important work experience. Today, she lives in San Gimignano where she exhibits her creations in the showroom in Via San Matteo. Her workshop is located in Via del Masso in Poggibonsi - Siena.

Silvia has participated in numerous events in Italy and abroad. Among the most important were two national art ceramics competitions in Assemini in the province of Cagliari, in 1986 and 1988, where she was awarded prizes and the works she submitted were purchased by the city's Ceramics Museum. One of her works was purchased by the Ceramics Museum in Strasbourg. Travelling exhibition 'Scarperentola' at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, continuing in major European cities. Purchase of one of her works by the Ceramics Museum in Strasbourg. First Ceramics Prize 'Ceramicamela' Municipality of Casole d'Elsa - Siena - won second prize ex equo. CNA Prize year 2016. Numerous solo and group appearances at exhibitions at the Pasquinucci Furnace in Capraia Fiorentina, the last of which in June 2019 entitled "Ceramics and Women". In the same year she exhibited in the collective exhibition "Segni di donne - i percorsi della creatività" - Sala Espositiva HB Poggibonsi

Her installations are placed on the façades of important buildings in the fountain in San Gimignano.
