Lene Regius is born in 1940 in Denmark. Between 1960 and 1964 she visites the School of Art in Copenhagen. She is a painter and ceramist. She established her private workshop in Camps since 1967. In 1993 she is for an Artist in Residence period in Thrapsanos in Crete, in 1997 she visits Indonesia and in 2005 Japan.
Lene Regius has participated in countless exhibitions in Denmark and abroad - including represented at Malmö Art Museum and Kunstindustrimuseet.
Lene Regius is notable for the slabbuilt porcelain oval vase forms with landscape patterns in the 1980s-90s. Later she produces large and beautifully shaped, decorative vases, influenced by the CoBrA movement.
