Petra Wolf did her training at the Fachhochschule Niederrhein in Krefeld between 1978 and 1985, Department Design / Produktdesign / Keramikdesign. Taught by Prof. H.J. Albrecht, Prof. Dieter Crumbiegel, Horst Göbbels and H.R. Holst. Between 1987 and 1992 is her first workshop in Brüggen/Bracht, Kevelaerstr. 21; in 1989 teacher at FBS Viersen, in 1993 is her second workshop in Brüggen/Bracht, Zissenweg 10; in 2003 teacher at KBV Viersen and in 2006 at Forum Krefeld Viersen.

Petra Wolf (D) makes work that recalls structures from nature. Such as sponges, bones, tree bark, wood grain and cracked Earth. The wealth which in nature is also available in organic black sculptures finished with white (text Museum De Tiendschuur, Tegelen NL).
